Waddington 2008 was a show of two distinct halves - the Saturday had
torrential downpours in the morning with glorious sunshine in the afternoon.
The Sunday was dry but gloomy in the morning, followed by a heavy shower
during the afternoon. Guess which day I chose to go?
The weather played havoc with the flying on the Sunday, the Vulcan
went tech so the crowd had to make do with a fast taxyrun, which was
spectacular in the wet. The static lineup was hit by no less than
42 cancellations in the week before the show. Like a lot of people,I didn't take
anywhere near as many shots as I have at past shows - I think my total was
around 60. I've included a few items from the show arrivals days too.
